• Faithful to my Homeland, the Republic of Poland

    On April 5th joint conference of Visegrad Forum countries (V4) + Japan has taken place at University of Josai. It was organized by The Embassy of the Slovak Republic, this year leader of V4, and Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    In the event titled "The Future of Global Economy and Free Trade" representatives of all V4 members participated, as well as experts from Japan.   Motoyuki Ono, Special Advisor of the Chancellor of Josai University, mentioned in his opening speech that Polish, Czech and Hungarian languages are being taught at the Josai. The Ambassador of Slovak Republic, Marian Tomasik, said that recently established economic agreement between EU and Japan (EPA) is a strong message against protectionism in global trade. 

    Deputy Minister of Japanese Foreign Affairs, Kenji Yamada, in his short speech mentioned three main topics: the importance of EPA & SPA, need for WTO reform and neccessity of  achieving  SDGs (Sustaiable Development Goals). In the main part of the event representatives from all V4 countries gave a speeches and discussed with the audience.
