Radosław Tyszkiewicz, Chargé d’affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Poland, attended Peace Memorial Ceremonies in Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6th and 9th.

Both ceremonies, commemorating victims of atomic bombing of the cities in 1945, were attended by Prime Minister Abe Shinzo, Speakers of the House of Representatives & the House of Peers, mayors & governors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, around 90 representatives of  diplomatic corps (including diplomats from nuclear weapons countries like USA, United Kingdom, France and Russia). 74th anniversary of the atomic bombing was an occasion for younger generations to reflect on the tragedy of the atomic bombings.
